I was down at the VIP/Press preview for the Cornado Speed Festival Friday morning and got a few shots of the cars that were out doing hot laps and ride-alongs. Â With such a wide array of cars out on the track, there were only a few Porsches running. Â One of them, a 996 GT3, was kind enough to give me a tour of the course.
Please be kind in the comments about the missed shift and the less-than-perfect cornering. Â At this point, he’d been running VIPs and press around the course for more than 2 hours so he was probably a bit tired, and most people wouldn’t notice if he missed an apex or not.
I’ll be following up with some photos from Friday morning and possibly the rest of the weekend if I’m able to make it back down (a bit of a conflict this weekend).
